Happy New Year!!
Most people make New Years Resolutions. I don't do resolutions, because then when you don't achieve them, you just disappoint yourself. So...here's a list of things I'd LIKE to do in 2007.
1. Lose Weight (something I HAVE to work on if I want to be around for New Years Eve next year).
2. Get Myself Organized. Especially my Ebay office..so that I can actually get serious about my Ebay business instead of just "playing" Ebay.
3. Grow a Great Garden...and actually maintain it this year. In the past, I've done the garden thing, and it starts out well. But by mid Summer, I tend to get lazy and sort of play the lazy gardener (let weeds grow up, forget to water, etc.). I love gardening and I need to get serious about it because I love fresh veggies, and I love having enough to give away to family.
4. See a Painted Bunting. Ever since I heard about these beautiful birds from my friend Ron (God rest his soul), I've wanted to see one with my very own eyes. If I have to sit down in the woods for the whole day, I am determined I am going to see one this Summer.
5. Get in Better Financial Shape..so that when things go wrong (like septic system or microwave going kaput), we can call the repairman and write him a check, no matter how much it might cost).
6. Get my Anxiety Disorder Under Control..learn to knock those panic attacks down before they can even get started. Get in the car and drive on the highway and tell those trucks to go to hell. I KNOW that someday, I can jump in the car and head to McKinney for the day if I want to..it'll take time, but I can do it!
7. Quit Being So Forgetful! I need to retrain my brain so that I don't forget things as soon as I think of them. I keep threatening to keep sticky notes handy and as I think of something, write it down and stick it to my forehead.
I'm sure there are other things I'd like to accomplish, but right now they slip my mind...so when I think of them, I'll write them down.
Stay tuned....
Have a Happy and Prosperous New Year!

Oh, we all want to do most of the things you have listed, but add dealing with your daddy and two little boys when I'm already so tired I can't waddle.
I know you can do it. Remember, I think I can, I think I can, I think I can and you CAN!
I can't wait for the veggies.
LOVE,
MOM
