Pete the Red Bellied Woodpecker is a Mommy!

We've had a red bellied woodpecker coming to my birdfeeders for a long time. He was here so often, I named him Pete. I noticed yesterday that he had a friend with him and he was feeding the friend from my satellite dish feeder. I figured that Pete must have a girlfriend and the male bird feeds its mate to show his affection. After looking closer at the two, I noticed "she" didn't have any red on her head at all, so I posted some pictures in my birding group. Turns out "Pete" is really Petra and the bird she was feeding is her baby!! No wonder she looked at me funny when I'd go outside and say "Hi Pete"!
